We here at Heart of God Fellowship Ministry Kenya know that the local church should be one of the most important aspects of a  believers life.

Here in Kenya that is very much the case.  The local church here is sometimes the only real gathering point for many people in the villages.  And the church is certainly the focal point of both a Kenyans social and spiritual life.  Most people you would choose to talk to anywhere in Kenya would tell you that the Church is very important in the life of the nation itself.   Jesus said that on the understanding of who He really is He would build His church: Matthew 16 verses 15, in which Jesus asked Peter “who do you say that I am?” and in verse 17  where Jesus says that Peter is blessed, because he had understood through the Holy Spirit who Jesus was.  And in verse 18 Jesus says to Simon who he then at that moment called  Peter, that upon this rock I will build My church, and hell would not prevail over it shows us that  Jesus was informing us all that the revelation of who he is in our lives and acting on that revelation, is THE CHURCH!    So as we teach in our churches here, knowing who we are in Christ is our quest.   You see when you know who you are and who He is, and exercise that authority accordingly, then “all things are possible to him who believes”,  Mark 9:23.

We established Heart of God Fellowship Kenya Church in Meru in Feb 2005 and although it has seen its ups and downs through the last few years, we are committed to the local Church.  We also now have a church in the town of Maua Kenya.  All peoples are welcome and the Word of God, The “GOOD NEWS” is being proclaimed at every service.  We are raising up people who know their God and who they are in Him!  Jesus himself commissioned each believer to “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations, teaching the all that He had taught them”  And again as it says in Hebrews 10:25, we should not forsake the gathering together.  That is to say we should continue to gather together with other believers to worship and encourage one another in THE CHURCH!
